This week's word has been following me around like a good song you can't get out of your head. PLAYBACK…. More on that later….
📬 From the Clubhouse Desk
Come on in. Shut the door behind you, it keeps the wind from knocking over the stack of half-finished ideas in the corner.
I was thinking this week about how easy it is to drift. Not in a dramatic, shipwreck way. More like you look up and realize you’ve been scrolling for 47 minutes and somehow learned nothing except that everybody else seems very productive.
We survived phones connected to the wall and internet dial-up. We can survive this.
There’s a quiet tug I’ve been feeling lately. Not loud. Not urgent. Just steady.
Like God clearing His throat gently instead of flipping a table.
And it’s not a “do more” tug. It’s a “come back” tug. Back to what’s simple. Back to what’s honest. Back to the small brave things.
This is my first go around at becoming the Clubhouse President. I’m getting better at writing weirdo articles and notes that we go over while hanging out together. In short, the newsletter will continue to change visually and become more RAD.

📬 Letter From the Clubhouse Desk ✍️
I started this little clubhouse because I kept noticing something strange. A lot of good people are walking around with a quiet feeling that says: "I was probably made for more than just getting through the week."
Not dramatic. More like your heart tapping on the wall saying, "Hey… you still in there?"
Every time I tried to be sensible and tone myself down, something inside me went, "No ma'am." Turns out that voice was purpose. Seems we are real good at talking ourselves out of our own spark. Creativity gets called silly. Faith gets told to hush. Courage gets scheduled for "someday."
That's when I started thinking about PLAYBACK. Not the painful kind…. the other rad kind. The kind where you hit play on a moment that reminded you who you actually are, and you felt good at that moment in time. A win you forgot about or didn't appreciate. A time God showed up when you weren't even looking… and friend, it's inevitable, like it or not, He always shows up. We spend so much energy on the rotten takes that we forget we have a highlight reel. God doesn't forget yours even when you do. "I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old." (Psalm 77:11)
But a clubhouse doesn't work like that anyway.
In our clubhouse: you can be curious. You can be unfinished. You can be a little weird in the good way, we call that having personality round here. Faith and creativity get to sit at the same table and share snacks. No speeches required. Pull up a chair.
